The 2010 AWA WORLD CONVENTION HAMFEST* !
This year we are trying something new.
We are hosting a Saturday (August 21, 2010) HAMFEST.
An invitation to all Rochester and Fingerlakes Amateur Radio Operators to visit the AWA CONVENTION. Admission will be free and any unused Flea Market Spaces will only be $5.00. So The fun begins on Saturday morning 6:00AM.
We are joined by the Rochester DX Association who will operate our special event station W2A. Our 80 Foot Tower is furnished by Monroe Country, Department of Public Safety Communications.
We will be running an ICOM 756 Pro II and an ICOM Pw-1 Kilowatt amplifier with a Tri-Bander.
Look for us on 20-40-75 meter SSB. We QSL 100%!
Talk in facilities are graciously provided by RRRA with our Special Events Station being operated by RDXA. 146.88/28
